“Let your light shine for all people so that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16)
Our light shines from the top of the hill because we are the Church with the blue cross which is a wonderful landmark on the main road in Handsworth Wood. See the cross shining in the darkness and you will know where you are!
The Church building was opened in 1969 but in recent years we have undergone a big refurbishment programme which now means we can provide a warm, modern and flexible building with good facilities.
Our worship area has fixed projection for powerpoint display and film; a large modern kitchen facility and small rooms available for smaller group meetings. We also have a good sound system with loop facility for hard of hearing and good access for disabled people.
It is an ideal facility for small conferences (160 people) for fund raising concerts and other community activities. Take a picture tour of the building in THE GALLERY check our booking charges, obtain a booking form and agreement or check on more information and you could promote your event at Elmwood.
REMEMBER TO HAVE A LOOK IN THE GALLERY FOR A GLIMPSE OF OUR FACILITIES!
