We believe the Church has a responsibility to serve the community and we attempt to fulfil that role with our presence and the activities we provide through the building.
On alternate Thursday’s there is a Lunch Club for individuals who live on their own and for some of the elder members this is their only opportunity to get out >>>> (Lunch Club).
Every Tuesday during school terms there is a Women’s Club with a variety of activities, outings and social gatherings to which people of all ages are welcome to attend >>>>>>>>>>>>> (Women’s Club)
On Wednesday evenings there is a Men’s Club which meets to play table tennis and listen to guest speakers >>>>>>>>> (Men’s Club)
The Asian Stroke Victims Support Group provide a focus on Monday’s and Wednesday’s for Stroke Victims from that particular community.
A Slimming Group meet on Monday evenings. On the second Tuesday of each month the University of the Third Age (U3A) have a variety of speakers and activities.
The Saturday Shop is a place to drop in to between 9-30 am and mid-day every Saturday morning just to meet people, use space for quiet reflection and prayer, buy some books and greeting cards and have a cup of tea or coffee.

Revd. Roberta Rominger, General Secretary of the United Reformed Church, speaks at an evening of food and entertainment at Elmwood on SATURDAY MARCH 19TH from 7-30 pm.
Joyous Symphony and Just Related provide the entertainment, there is a two course meal and Roberta will give the keynote talk. Tickets are available at £10 each and all proceeds will support Commitment4Life projects in Jamaica.
